Content & Image Consent

Let's Talk Pageants ("LTP") welcomes photos, videos, interviews, stories, testimonials, and other materials from the community. This page explains, in plain language, the difference between submitting content, granting permission to publish, and owning content. It is a draft for review and is not legal advice.

Submitting material to LTP (for example through an application, a tribute, a nomination, or a gallery submission) means you are sharing it with LTP for consideration. Submission alone does not guarantee that the content will be published.

Where you intend for LTP to publish or display your submission, you grant LTP permission to use, display, reproduce, and distribute the submitted material on this website and in connection with LTP's community and media features, in the form submitted and in reasonable adaptations for that purpose.

This permission is limited to the material you submit for publication. It does not transfer ownership.

You keep ownership of content you create and submit. LTP does not automatically own every image or submission unless a separate written agreement says so. Granting permission to publish is not the same as transferring ownership.

You are responsible for having the right to submit any material you share with LTP, especially when it involves other people. If a photo, video, story, or testimonial includes or references another person, you should have that person's permission before submitting it. LTP is not responsible for confirming permissions for content submitted by users.

Content involving minors should be submitted only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian.

You may request removal of content you submitted, or correction of inaccurate information, by contacting LTP. LTP will review reasonable requests, though content that has been published may take time to update or remove. LTP may also remove content at its discretion if it believes permission was not properly obtained or content violates these guidelines.
